Eighteen Companies to the America's Safest Companies List for 2008

It was no California Dreamin’ on Sept. 22, 2008 in Anaheim. On that day, EHS Today, the magazine of enviornement, health and safety, celebrated the 18 companies that were named to the 2008 list of America's Safest Companies. Together, these companies provide a safe working environment for nearly 275,000 employees.

America's Safest Companies, founded in 2002 by Occupational Hazards (now EHS Today), is a corporate award honoring the safest companies in the United States. This year’s list of America’s Safest Companies includes Blythe Construction Inc., The Boldt Co., D&E Communications Inc., Green Mountain Communications Inc., Herman Miller Inc., Koch Pipeline Co., Marous Brothers Construction Inc., Monroe Litho Inc., The Mundy Companies, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., OMG Electronic Chemicals, Raytheon Co., Roche Diagnostics Corp., Strick Corp., Sunbelt Rentals Inc., Textron Inc., The Washington Division of the URS Corp. and Worthington Industries.

Representatives from the 2008 America’s Safest Companies were honored at a champagne reception at Catal Restaurant in Anaheim, Calif.
