The most important element of EHS Today’s Safety Leadership Conference is the educational component contributed by YOU, the experts speaking in our four tracks: safety and risk management, compliance, construction and safety technology.

EHS Today’s Safety Leadership Conference is the premier education and networking opportunity for leaders in occupational safety and health, compliance and risk management. The 2017 Safety Leadership Conference will be held Sept. 11-13 in Atlanta at the Hilton Atlanta.

The most important element of the Safety Leadership Conference is the educational component contributed by the experts speaking in our four tracks: safety and risk management, compliance, construction and safety technology:

Safety and Risk Management: EHS professionals and risk management consultants are invited to share their insights about safety leadership at a facility level and/or improving the safety culture at a corporate-wide. Former America’s Safest Companies winners are highlighted.

Compliance: Respected workplace attorneys from Fisher Phillips, along with their clients and consultants, analyze and advise attendees regarding regulatory compliance issues and trends in workplace law. With a new Secretary of Labor and new administrators for OSHA, EPA and MSHA, changes are anticipated that could radically alter the landscape of EHS compliance.

Construction: This track, sponsored by ABC, focuses on the demanding task of managing construction site safety. EHS professionals from construction companies as well as consultants who have helped fine-tune the safety culture at small-, medium- and large construction firms share their tips and techniques for improving all aspects of construction site safety, from increasing employee engagement, to using technology to help manage safety and developing programs for aspects of construction such as fall protection and PPE.

Safety Technology: This track focuses on cutting edge technology, risk management and IoT, and how all can be integrated into the workplace to reduce injuries and illnesses. From identifying and tracking leading indictors via software to state-of-the-art production improvements to futuristic robotics, safety technology offers a look at the future of safe work.

If you are an EHS professional and would like to share your professional experiences and program successes with our audience, we encourage you to respond to our Call for Presenters. We particularly would like to hear from you if your company is a previous winner of the America’s Safest Companies award. The deadline for applications for speakers is April 3, 2017.
