OSHA''s Committee on Construction Safety and Health will hold a two-day public meeting May 4-5 that will include updates on fall protection, ergonomics and other OSHA policies and rulemakings that affect the construction industry.
The agenda items include remarks by OSHA Administrator Charles N. Jeffress and work group updates on musculoskeletal disorders; data collection and targeting; cranes; fall protection; OSHA Form 170; and noise in construction.
There will also be a special presentation on OSHA''s rulemaking process and a Carolina star program.
The overall committee will meet at the Francis Perkins Building in Washington, D.C., on May 4 from 8:30 to 4 p.m., and on May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Written comments on the agenda items may be submitted along with 20 copies to Veneta Chatmon, Office of Public Affairs, OSHA, 200 Constitution Ave., N.W., Room N-3647, Washington, D.C. 20210.

Commenters also should provide a brief outline of their planned presentation.
