The Benefits to Business of Telecommuting [Infographic]

More than one-third of workers polled say they would work remotely if they had the opportunity.

There are 34 million workers who telecommute at least occasionally in the United States, and that number is on the rise, according to this infographic from Staff.com.

According to Forrester research, this figure is expected to grow to 63 million by 2016, fueled by worldwide broadband adoption, better collaboration tools and growing management experience.

The research from Forrester also noted that two out of three telecommuters claim to be more productive than those who work in an office., and four in five said that teleworkers experience less stress.
