NSC 2014: Safe (and Hot) in San Diego [Photo Gallery]

Sept. 18, 2014

It was a week of records in San Diego: Record-breaking temperatures shortened school days and had the region under a heat advisory, while record-breaking crowds converged on the San Diego Convention Center for the National Safety Council’s 2014 Congress and Expo.

“This year’s event is our biggest show to date, with the highest attendance ever,” said Deborah Hersman, president and CEO of the National Safety Council, who noted that the theme of this year’s conference was helping attendees advance on their “Journey to Safety Excellence.”

More than 14,000 EHS professionals networked with their peers, attended keynote sessions and professional development seminars and perused the latest safety products and services from more than 900 exhibiting companies.

EHS Today captured these images from the NSC Congress and Expo as well as from beautiful downtown San Diego.
