Daniel Cotter is a partner at law firm Dickinson Wright. He has served as an outside chief privacy officer across various industries for many of his clients. He has been deeply involved in privacy and cybersecurity matters for Fortune 500 companies for nearly 20 years. Prior to that, he spent 16 years as general counsel for an insurance company.
