In this special edition of "The Great Question" podcast series, the editors of EHS Today offer a sneak preview of the upcoming Safety Leadership Conference 2024, which is being held August 26-28 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver, CO. This is the one show that safety professionals look forward to more than any other because its focus is entirely on helping good safety professionals become great ones, with the goal of exchanging best practices on how to keep their workers safer. The theme of the conference is “Safety First, Leadership Always: Bridging the Gap.”

Highlights of Safety Leadership Conference 2024 include:

·      • Presentation of this year’s America’s Safest Companies awards, held in conjunction with the VPPPA’s Health and Safety Awards at a special evening celebration and reception.

·       • Compelling keynotes, including a presentation by Jalayna Bolden, VP of EHS at telecommunications giant AT&T on managing safety at one of the world’s biggest companies; a Q&A with recent winners of the America’s Safest Companies award; and thanks to our partnership with VPPPA, we’ll have an inspirational luncheon keynote from Olympic champion swimmer Amy Van Dyken.

·      • Hands-on workshops, networking opportunities, a chance to take in a baseball game at beautiful Coors Field, and most especially, you’ll hear from safety leaders presenting in five tracks: Risk Management; Regulatory Compliance; The ROI of Safety; Safety Technology; and Training & Engagement.
