It’s been another difficult year.

COVID-19 continues to be the most pressing challenge—and biggest unknown.

In 2021, we learned how to deal with the day-to-day difficulties, anxieties and developments associated with living in a global pandemic.

Then the delta variant arrived. And then at the end of November, the omicron variant arrived.

The current COVID-19 surge, just in time for cold and flu season, is once again demanding our full attention. It’s all-hands-on-deck as we deal with the spike in cases, continued staffing and labor shortages and supply chain difficulties.

It’s going to be a tough few months ahead. Let’s briefly pause to reflect on where we’ve been and what we’ve made it through in 2021. Here are the year’s most popular stories on EHS Today’s website.
