It’s the end of December, a time to look forward (or dread) to going to the gym, losing the holiday pounds and those other New Year’s resolutions. It's also a time to reflect back on the year that was.
While some of the news was expected, or perhaps anticipated—OSHA is always going to have a top 10 violations list—but plenty of it caught us off guard. And it looks like you were, too.
We didn’t expect OSHA to switch from hard hats to safety helmets this month. We also didn’t expect a standard news item announcing that switch to ratchet up the charts to become one of our most popular stories of the year. However, we did expect you to be interested in the news that OSHA was investigating warehouses at one of the largest companies in America, and the metrics bear that out.
Years are a funny thing. Sometimes, it feels like the day would never end, and other times it feels like months passed by in the blink of an eye. One thing will always be the same, though. EHS Today is committed to being your trusted source of environmental, health and safety news. We will help you stay up to date on the latest rulings and regulations as well as be your destination for thought leadership to help your safety program reach new heights.
We look forward to hearing from you and reporting on our ever-changing world in 2024! Until then, stay safe and be well.
Without further ado, here are some of our most popular stories of the year.
