The AZM400 from Schmersal is a safety-rated bolt lock with an integrated RFID sensor. It is a bistable, power-to-lock/power-to-unlock motorized bolt with intelligent locking. It features a locking force of 10,000 N, LED diagnostics and a large tolerance for misalignment. It offers individual coding of actuators and several manual by-pass/emergency exit release options, including an electric manual release that can be connected to a separate back up power source. It achieves PLe for both interlock and guard locking functions and can be used as a Type 4 device per ISO14119.
