ESG, Injury Rates and Electrocution Risks: What You’re Reading This Month
I was looking at a to-do list I made for the next few months, and I was surprised to see both how much I accomplished and how much I have added to it. Such is life, I suppose. I decided to set a one-week moratorium on making any updates or changes, because I want to give myself a chance to congratulate myself for what I have achieved.
In a culture where we are told to constantly do more and be better, taking time to pause, reflect and celebrate our accomplishments can feel wrong, but these actions are, in fact, a critical step toward growth and success.
This exercise is also helping me to remember that progress can be made daily but is often only seen occasionally. I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir.
We all have our own strategies to work towards long-term goals. I hope you can find those markers to help you continue toiling as well as ways to encourage and support one another so that we can all thrive. Until next time, stay safe, be well and be kind!
