Call for Speakers, Wearable Tech Limits and Extreme Weather: What You’re Reading This Month
We finally made it to the end of January, huzzah!
It was a busy month, least of all with both the outgoing Biden administration wrapping up its work and the incoming Trump administration off and running, right out the gate.
Based on our website metrics, it looks like you’re reflecting on 2024 and want to set yourself up for success in 2025. One way you’re interested in doing that is by speaking at our annual Safety Leadership Conference, which will be held in Arizona this fall. We hope you consider applying; the call for speakers closes February 21.
There’s a host of fresh considerations, from the EEOC’s limit on wearable tech (which may change now that there’s been a shake up at the EEOC) to a new industrial bump caps standard.
I am flattered that y’all like my weekly column. I’ll try to not let the clicks go to my head instead tell myself it’s probably an aberration with the data. I’ll still treat myself to a cookie, though.
As always, let us know what you think or would like to see in the comments below. Until next time, stay safe, be well and be kind!
