Forklift Safety, Summer Hazards and Safety Culture: What You’re Reading in June
Today is a busy day. It’s the last Friday of the month, which means it’s time to look at what y’all have been reading. It’s also pay day, which always puts a spring in my step. It’s also the last day of the term for the Supreme Court of the United States. It’s also the weekend before Independence Day.
In short, there’s a lot probably on your mind right now. And that’s not even taking into account some other major stories right now. Here in Ohio, our air quality has been poor because of the wildfires in Canada. It feels selfish to complain about the air restricting my ability to go for a walk outside, so I am instead praying that they can get those fires under control soon for everyone and everything’s safety, health and well-being.
Before we get into it, I want to quote Tabitha Brown, one of my favorite personalities. She always ends her videos by saying, “Have a good day. But if you can’t, don’t you dare go messing up nobody else’s.”
Side note: If you're looking for some plant-based food inspiration, I highly encourage you to watch some of her cooking videos on Instagram.
Side side note: Even if you're not looking to get cooking in the kitchen, I still encourage you to watch some of her videos. Tabitha's life outlook, combined with her North Carolina drawl, are incredibly soothing--like an auditory hug. She'll probably also make you chuckle, and I always feel better after a good laugh.
Until next time, take care!
