The Kimberly-Clark Skin Wellness Institute has a new Web site at www.kcskinhealth.com that is designed to be a "gathering place" for those interested in learning more about skin health issues in occupational settings.
The Web site features a News Desk section, which highlights the latest news and information about skin health issues, research and products. Other sections include the Faculty Lounge, which offers biographical information on the institute''s faculty, and the Reading Room, which has articles, reports and presentations on a range of skin wellness topics. A links section directs visitors to other sources of skin health information.
The Kimberly-Clark Skin Wellness Institute was created in 1998 to address the myriad issues surrounding skin health in away-from-home settings &emdash; at the office or the factory, at school or in the hospital, when traveling or eating out, and even at play.
Composed of a multidisciplinary faculty of independent, scientific professionals, the institute focuses on researching and improving skin health through laboratory and clinical research as well as professional and consumer education of skin wellness practices.
If you are a skin care professional looking for more information on the institute, call (770) 587-8888.
