Visitors to A+A found over 1,400 exhibitors from around the world who displayed the newest products, services and technologies aimed at improving and enhancing occupational safety and health.
Special live demonstrationsof product applications at the expo promoted solutions for a better, safer work environment. The A+A Congress, with approximately 500 speakers and some 6,000 delegates, examined current trends, developments and new perspectives for occupational safety and health around the world.
The Future of Occupational Safety and Health in the EU
Although occupational illnesses, injuries and fatalities have declined in some sectors,
some European Union (EU) industries like construction, transportation, agriculture, health
and social services have experienced increases in occupational injuries, illnesses
and fatalities.
A+A: Germany Focuses on Safety A+A, the huge international trade show and conference, celebrated its 30th anniversary when it opened Sept. 18 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Messe Dusseldorf GmbH, the show organizer, expected 54,000 trade show visitors and 6,000 conference participants to attend the event, which is held every 2 years. Some 1,300 exhibitors from 55 countries were showing safety, health and security products at the show.

A+A: Positive Signs for European Safety Market Investment in safety and health products has been growing internationally and, for the past two years, in Germany, according to Gerd Zeisler, president of the Trade Fair Advisory Council at A+A 2007 and sales director for Drager Safety in Germany.
