Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Safety Sciences Department, in cooperation with the Alcoa Foundation, will host Fatality Prevention in the Workplace, a national two-day forum to study the nature and cause of fatalities in the workplace. This forum will seek to examine key aspects of the complex relationship between the work environment, work methods, culture, and leadership and the impact of those relationships on the safety and health management system as it relates to hazards that have the potential for fatal consequences.
