CEC Combustion Services Group is comprised of three companies devoted to improving the safety and reliability of heat processing equipment worldwide. Our staff of professional engineers, certified auditors, expert trainers, and skilled service technicians can meet all of your combustion equipment needs. Our customers include many Fortune 100 multinational companies. Our staff not only knows and understands safety codes, they serve on a number of national code committees.
Our capabilities and experience are diverse. We regularly direct and consult on corporate combustion equipment safety programs and writing standards, generating training material for multi-plant sites and preparing capital budget plans for upgrading equipment.
OSHA and National safety codes require testing and inspection of combustion equipment on at least an annual basis. Often, these inspections are not being done at all. Testing and inspecting your equipment regularly can prevent fires/explosions, reduce downtime, minimize fuel costs, and increase product quality.
We offer the most comprehensive, consistent and disciplined third-party combustion system equipment inspection and testing programs in the industry. You receive objective testing and reporting because we don’t have a hidden agenda to sell you components, burners, or control systems. All testing and reporting results are based on national standards, codes, and industry best practices.
We bring a depth of talent to your combustion systems problems that is hard to find in this industry. Our staff of licensed professional engineers has hundreds of years of combined experience. They have direct experience working for burner manufacturers, control and instrumentation manufacturers, and oven builders. Members of our staff serve on three national combustion related safety committees including NFPA 86 (Standard for Ovens and Furnaces), NFPA 85 (Combustion Hazards for Large Boilers), and ASME CSD1 (Safety Standards for Automatically Fired Boilers). One of our staff also holds an NBIC (National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors) commission.
Turnkey Productivity, Safety, and Efficiency Upgrades:
We can teach old dog furnaces and ovens new tricks including safety improvements, easier light offs, better temperature holding capability, energy efficiency and heat recovery, and even increased throughput. Combustion equipment is our only focus.
Our experienced team of engineers, project and construction managers, pipe fitters, and electricians can build, install, and commission all types of combustion equipment. We can build to your specifications, modify existing equipment, or design a new system from scratch. We are used to working around production schedules and shutdowns. We’re also used to working fast.

Our work product is a complex, engineered service or system. Our partner representatives throughout the world provide us with leads in their area and get paid for those leads and introductions. In return, we also provide them with possible customer contacts in a careful manner after speaking with our customers to see if they want an introduction.
We spend time with referral partners being introduced to possible clients on a speculative basis hoping to build relationships. We also provide training to our referral partners at our Cleveland Headquarters so they better understand our capabilities and what we do.
