EHS Today Invites Safety Professionals to Complete the 2014 National Safety Survey

May 27, 2014
EHS Today invites safety professionals to complete the 2014 National Safety Survey.

Nearly 30 percent of respondents to EHS Today’s 2013 National Safety Survey told us that production takes precedence over safety in their organizations, while 66 percent said they’ve implemented formal workplace violence policies. What will this year’s survey reveal about the state of occupational safety and health?

The answers will be highlighted in the August issue of EHS Today. In the meantime, your participation in the 2014 National Safety Survey – now available online – will help us paint a clearer picture of the trends, opportunities and challenges in the EHS profession.

Last year, nearly 1,000 EHS professionals responded to the confidential survey, and their answers enabled you – our readers – to gauge how your efforts to prevent injuries and illnesses stack up against your peers. The 2013 survey pointed to an increased reliance on leading indicators; growing concern about the threat of workplace violence; and surging interest in wellness programs, among other trends.

This year’s survey will address those topics and more, offering a snapshot of the EHS profession in 2014. But your participation is critical.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey (most of the questions are multiple-choice) and provide honest answers. By completing the 2014 National Safety Survey, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a jump-start battery charger with booster cables.

Thank you for your participation!
