Emergency medicine faculty will gather in San Francisco to learn from world-renowned experts and present original research on state-of-the-art developments in emergency medicine at the 12th annual International Conference on Emergency Medicine. Plenary sessions will focus on disaster preparedness, global outreach and cooperation, leadership in emergency medicine, patient safety and reducing errors in emergency medicine. Investigators from around the world, including Singapore, Ireland and Bahrain, will offer research on a comprehensive array of topics in 23 different tracks covering everything from daily emergency medical practice issues to organizational aspects of emergency medical care.

The American College of Emergency Physicians hosts this conference, which features over 140 courses, more than 24 participating emergency medicine societies and nearly 300 paper or poster presentations.
