How Happy Employees Can Lead to a Happy Company [Infographic]

July 20, 2016
Workplace morale, either positive or negative, can have an enormous impact on companies in a number of ways.

Employee satisfaction and engagement certainly make it more enjoyable to go to work, but high marks for engagement and satisfaction can lead to a more successful business.

Employees who engage with their work and like their job are 27 percent more likely to report that the management of their company is “excellent.” They are 45 percent more likely to positively adapt to change in the workplace.

According to this infographic from Colin Cuthbert at Ayers, which provides contractor management, payroll, human resources and workplace health and wellness services, positive workplace morale:

  • Makes employees want to come to work.
  • Makes employees willing to work outside of designated hours to achieve targets.
  • Leads to greater productivity from employees who are highly motivated.
  • Leads to minimal absenteeism.
  • Inspires teamwork and a willingness to come to the aid of coworkers.
